白小乐，男，北京市人。1941年出生，1961年高中毕业，被保送军校学习雷达，1965年由高教部派往法国巴黎留学。曾任中国社科院机关党委副书记、院刋主骗，欧美同学会总会理事、畄法分会副祕书长。现任联合国教科文组织名誉主席、《世界华人艺术金奖》获得者、国务院国礼艺术大师，中国国宾礼艺术家。
应邀参与全国书法比赛和公益活动，荣获金、银奖数十次。2007年“迎北京奥运全国书画大赛”荣获金奖；中国书法年刋评为“2008年度书法艺术金奖”，2012年被全国中老年书法展评为金奖并授予“当代德艺双馨艺术家”称号。2014年春中国邮政出版社出版《一带一路·新丝绸之路上的艺术大使——白小乐个人艺术展》。
2014年美国集邮集团出版《美国国家名片——中美杰出华人艺术家白小乐美国邮册限量珍藏版》；2017年法国出版《杰出华人艺术家白小乐纪念珍藏册》；2024年法国出版白小乐书法集《法国邮票上的中国艺术》；同年，法国达芬奇艺术博物馆和意大利佛罗伦萨市政厅联合授予白小乐【达芬奇国际艺术终身成就奖】；2024年国际艺术联盟首届双年展组委会授予白小乐“世界和平艺术贡献奖”；中国文旅部华人艺评委、联合国艺术中心授予白小乐《世界华人艺术金奖》。2025年联合国成立80周年授予白小乐终身成就奖。
Bai Xiaole, a male born in Beijing in 1941, graduated from high school in 1961 and was recommended to study radar at a military academy. In 1965, he was sent by the Ministry of Higher Education to study in Paris, France. He has served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Editor-in-Chief of the Academy's journal, Director of the General Association of European and American Alumni, and Deputy Secretary-General of the French Branch. He currently holds the positions of Honorary President of UNESCO, recipient of the "World Chinese Art Gold Award", National Gift Art Master of the State Council, and Chinese State Guest Artist.
Invited to participate in national calligraphy competitions and public welfare activities, he has won dozens of gold and silver awards. In 2007, he won the gold award in the "National Calligraphy and Painting Competition for the Beijing Olympics". His annual publication of Chinese calligraphy was awarded the "Gold Award for Calligraphy Art in 2008". In 2012, he was awarded the gold award at the National Exhibition of Middle-aged and Elderly Calligraphers and was honored with the title of "Contemporary Artist of Excellence in Both Morality and Art". In the spring of 2014, China Post Publishing House published "The Belt and Road·Art Ambassadors on the New Silk Road - Bai Xiaole's Personal Art Exhibition".
In 2014, the American Philatelic Group published "American National Business Cards - Limited Edition Collection of American Stamps for Outstanding Chinese Artist Bai Xiaole"; in 2017, France published "Commemorative Collection of Outstanding Chinese Artist Bai Xiaole"; in 2024, France published Bai Xiaole's calligraphy collection "Chinese Art on French Stamps"; in the same year, the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in France and the Florence City Hall in Italy jointly awarded Bai Xiaole the "Leonardo da Vinci International Art Lifetime Achievement Award"; in 2024, the organizing committee of the first biennial exhibition of the International Art Alliance awarded Bai Xiaole the "World Peace Art Contribution Award"; the Chinese Art Jury of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the United Nations Art Center awarded Bai Xiaole the "Gold Award for World Chinese Art". In 2025, on the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, Bai Xiaole was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
