毛学校，字敬之，号清斋主人，山东东营市人。系中国书法家协会、中华诗词学会、中国楹联协会会员，国家一级艺术大师，中国书画艺术指导委员会委员，国家智库专家，央媒文化组委会艺术顾问，清华大学美术学院客座教授，英国剑桥艺术学院研究生导师，香港书法家协会副主席、荣誉主席，北京世纪名人国际书画院院士，北京京华阁书画院副院长，山东滨州市书协顾问，黄河三角洲书画院常务副院长，山东曲阜鸿儒书画院常务副院长，有诗集《清河集》《清斋诗墨》、书法有《一代大家》毛学校专刊、《一带一路书法名家毛学校》、《建党百年毛学校书法专刋》、《世界艺术鉴赏》中国风毛学校专刋、2022奉献全国两会的《人民艺术代表》专刋，《二十大专刋》，《书画収藏品鉴》，国际福布斯、北京荣宝斋，故宫博物院出版社等编辑出版《毛学校书法艺朮》等80余种作品集。
2019年，中国书协授于"德艺双馨艺术家“，2020年9月经文旅部、外交部批准发行《一带一路 国家名片 新时代艺术大师 毛学校 黄永玉 靳尚谊》书画集，在一带一路国家发行。11月，毛学校的两幅书法作品被耶鲁大学英国艺术中心收藏。中国书画职称评定中心等单位授于《人民艺术家》等称号。2021年6月，香港书协主办的《第十三届“京津冀走廊上的明珠＂全国书画大赛》中荣获书法“第一名”。2023年4月参加北京荣宝斋艺术館全国名家邀请展，20幅书法作品参加《水墨巨匠》艺术研究院揭牌议式暨全国书画名家邀请展。6月，中国书法"兰亭奖"评委会授于巜兰亭奖终身成就奖》，中国文联授于《中国书画终身成就奖》。中国文旅部授于“国家文艺泰斗丰碑奖”。9月，河北出版社编辑出版毛学校《高䓁艺术院校书法教学范夲》第二辑。2025年一月，由香港世界文化艺求出版社出版《世界髙䓁艺术院校名师教学案例<毛学校人物卷>》。四月，中国文联䓁单位授于毛学校《当代书画界新领軍人物》奖牌。十一月央视CC丅V书画频道的签约书法家。2025年度被中书协表彰为《先进个人》。
毛学校先生在诗词创作上也深有造诣，2008年，入选《第二届华夏诗词奖作品集》。2010年诗词14首入选《齐鲁百年诗词选》。2016年诗词20首入选中华诗词学会主编的《集成》山东卷。2025年3月，诗词入选线装书局出版的《齐鲁诗词精品集》。
经过多年的辛勤耕耘，毛学校先生成为国内外知名的艺术大家。欧阳中石先生曾为其书写并特赠《中国艺术大家》牌匾。
Mao Xuexiao, courtesy name Jingzhi, art name Qingzhai Zhuren, was born in Dongying, Shandong Province. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the Chinese Poetry Society, and the China Couplet Association; a National First-Class Artist; a member of the China Painting and Calligraphy Art Steering Committee; a National Think Tank Expert; an Art Consultant of the Central Media Culture Organizing Committee; a visiting professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University; a postgraduate supervisor at the Cambridge School of Art, UK; Vice Chairman and Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Calligraphers Association; an academician of the Beijing Century Celebrity International Painting and Calligraphy Academy; Vice President of the Beijing Jinghua Pavilion Painting and Calligraphy Academy; Consultant to the Binzhou Calligraphers Association, Shandong; Executive Vice President of the Yellow River Delta Painting and Calligraphy Academy; Executive Vice President of the Qufu Hongru Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Shandong. He has published poetry collections Qinghe Collection and Qingzhai Poetry and Ink; calligraphy albums include Master Series: Mao Xuexiao Special Issue, Belt and Road Calligraphy Master Mao Xuexiao, Centenary of the Founding of the Party: Mao Xuexiao Calligraphy Special Issue, World Art Appreciation: Chinese Style – Mao Xuexiao Special Issue, People’s Art Representative (presented to the 2022 National Two Sessions), 20th National Congress Special Issue, Painting and Calligraphy Collection Appreciation, as well as over 80 albums edited and published by international Forbes, Beijing Rongbaozhai, the Palace Museum Press, etc., including Mao Xuexiao’s Calligraphy Art.
In 2019, he was awarded the title of Artist of Both Moral and Artistic Stature by the Chinese Calligraphers Association. In September 2020, approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the painting and calligraphy album Belt and Road · National Business Card · New Era Art Masters: Mao Xuexiao, Huang Yongyu, Jin Shangyi was issued and distributed in Belt and Road countries. In November 2020, two of his calligraphy works were collected by the Yale Center for British Art. He was also awarded the title of People’s Artist by the China Painting and Calligraphy Title Evaluation Center and other institutions. In June 2021, he won the First Prize in Calligraphy at the 13th National Painting and Calligraphy Competition "Pearl on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Corridor" hosted by the Hong Kong Calligraphers Association. In April 2023, he participated in the National Famous Artists Invitational Exhibition at the Beijing Rongbaozhai Art Museum, with 20 calligraphy works exhibited at the inauguration ceremony of the Ink Master Art Research Institute and the National Painting and Calligraphy Famous Artists Invitational Exhibition. In June 2023, he was awarded the Lanting Award Lifetime Achievement Award by the judging panel of the China Calligraphy Lanting Award, the China Painting and Calligraphy Lifetime Achievement Award by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the National Literary and Art Giant Monument Award by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China. In September 2023, the second series of Calligraphy Teaching Models for Higher Art Colleges by Mao Xuexiao was edited and published by Hebei Publishing House. In January 2025, Teaching Cases for World Higher Art Colleges: Mao Xuexiao Figure Volume was published by the Hong Kong World Culture and Art Publishing House. In April 2025, he was awarded the medal of New Leading Figure in Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and other institutions. In November 2025, he became a signed calligrapher with CCTV Painting and Calligraphy Channel. In 2025, he was recognized as an Advanced Individual by the Chinese Calligraphers Association.
Mr. Mao Xuexiao also has profound attainments in poetry creation. In 2008, his poems were selected into the Second Huaxia Poetry Award Collection. In 2010, 14 of his poems were included in Shandong Centenary Poetry Collection. In 2016, 20 of his poems were selected into the Shandong Volume of the Collection edited by the Chinese Poetry Society. In March 2025, his poems were included in Shandong Poetry Boutique Collection published by Thread-Bound Bookstore.
After years of diligent cultivation, Mr. Mao Xuexiao has become a renowned master of art at home and abroad. Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi personally wrote and presented to him the plaque of Chinese Art Master.
