艺术的荣耀，在于以笔墨承文脉，以初心赴时代。王万宏先生，字舒展，号味钟斋主，1946 年生于甘肃永登，一位从陇原大地走向世界的艺术名家，以数十载笔耕不辍，在诗、书、画、印领域独树一帜，用匠心铺就了一条满载荣誉的世界级艺术之路。
先生幼承庭训，酷爱书画篆刻，早年扎根教育一线，从兰州资源环境大学到敦煌书画院，从书法教员到艺术顾问，始终以 “教学相长” 践行使命。八十年代初结缘敦煌，这片文化沃土成为他艺术的发祥地，完成了从业余到专业的转型，更让他情萦两关、梦系敦煌，数十年如一日办学授徒，为敦煌书画艺术培养了大批人才，用育人初心诠释艺术传承的温度。
作为中国东方文化研究会高级书法师、华夏文化促进会素质教育委员会专家级评委，先生造诣横跨诗书画印及文史哲，作品兼具传统神韵与时代气息。编著《中国史纲印谱》《十体千字文》等典籍，编写《标准书法教材》，既深耕学术研究，又惠及艺术教育；书画作品在国内外展览屡获殊荣，被中外个人与院馆广泛收藏，更获中国文联 “中国美术终身成就奖”、“中国文化艺术国际传播大使” 等重磅荣誉，成为中华文化对外交流的名片。

王万宏，字舒展，1946年7月生于甘肃永登，特级书法师，系兰州资环大学退休教师。幼秉庭训，酷爱书画篆刻。
1963年作品入展西北五省毛主席诗词书法篆刻展，并被甘报摘载。1983年起借助敦煌这个对外进行文化交流的窗口，作品陆续流往海外，在东南亚产生一定影响。1986年分别在永登和敦煌举办王万宏书法篆刻展。1991年先后在瓜州、酒泉、兰州，敦煌举办王万宏诗书画印展。上世纪90年代，作品被特邀参加在菲律宾举办的“中华逸吟神墨诗书画国际大展”，获国际文化交流佳作奖。并连续参加了在中国台湾举办的第二、第三、第四届“国际书画印艺展”和“首届国际书画印艺名家邀请展”，获杰出创作奖。
2008年被国际奥林匹克艺术中心授予“国际奥林匹克艺术家”称号。2009年被当代艺术家联合会评为“当代杰出艺术家”，并获首届全球华人“旗手奖”最高荣誉奖和“一代宗师”的称号。在“金晖杯”共和国文艺奖评选中荣获金奖，被授予“共和国艺术风云人物”荣誉称号。
2012年，其编著的《中国史纲印谱》正式出版发行。2012年9月被中国国学研究会授予“献礼十八大，国学十八家”荣誉称号，并获得纪念改革开放35周年国学文化艺术最高成就金奖。
2013年，在纪念人才强国战略实施十周年之际，被中国未来研究会编入《走进大家》一书。同年11月，共用甲骨文、金文、秦篆、摹印篆、汉隶、章草、楷书、今草、行书、简楷创作的《十体千字文》被中国文史出版社出版。2014年，传略入编《影响中国的学者》。被艺术人物杂志社聘为荣誉社长兼创作委员。被中国国学会提名担任文化界国家形象大使。作品及成就入编《中国艺术大家》国礼珍藏册，并担任中华国礼出版社荣誉社长。其传略、作品入编《2014年度全国功勋书画家》大型书画作品集。
2015年作品和简历入编西泠印社出版社发行的首卷书法卷《巅峰艺术》，被中企报盟信息科学研究院授予“全国百位优秀人民书画家”称号，同时入编中国企业报道《艺术资本》企业会员俱乐部会刊。
2018年受邀参加德艺双馨艺术家共庆改革开放四十周年优秀作品展，专刊面向全国各企事业单位发行，受到各领导专家及企业老总的一致好评，并被艺专委官网重点刊登报道。4月被中国民族建筑研究会书画艺术专业委员会特聘为理事会理事。
2020年中国书画家联谊会新文艺群体书画家工作委员会颁发“当代书画艺术卓越典范人物”证书。2021年加入中华优秀传统文化人才库。
2022年中国传统艺术发展委员会授予“中国文化艺术国际传播大使”。
2022年特邀加入雅昌艺术国际交易网会员艺术家。应邀参加由中国红色文化研究会主办的“我们的中国梦——暨百位将军、百位艺术名家大型书画全国交流巡展。国家文旅部艺术发展中心将启动首批文化传承工作，特邀成立“中国书画艺术名家工作室”授权，颁发荣誉匾牌，由4家权威媒体面向全国报道。应邀参加人民日报《环球人物》主办的“时代巨匠、为人民创作”的国礼拍卖，书籍印刷，颁发公益证书等系列活动。
应邀参加央视传媒、中国百家媒体组委会主办的“讲好中国故事、塑造中国文化一暨特别推荐创意传播艺术大使。王万宏”专题报道。
应中国服务贸易协会国际交流工作委员会之邀参与制作《大美无疆、共通共享》“坚持文化自信，赓写丝路传奇。”纪念一带路倡议提出十周年个人专刊。并由国内15家新闻媒体和海外8家媒体对此项活动进行个人献礼专题新闻报道和电子巡展。

特邀入编中国首部网络《名人辞典》，同时收录在中国名人大数据库。特授予中国当代正能量文艺工作者荣誉称号:“时代标杆”，颁发入编证书和奖牌。
2023年加入中国东方文化研究会，为高级书法创研员。2024年6月被授予当代殿堂级“红墙”国宝艺术书画艺术家。
2024年6月荣获中国艺术百花奖，并参与精品书画展。2024年7月聘请担任中国国企业文化促进会中小企业文化专业委员会高级艺术顾问。
2024年8月在文化艺术课题研究领域的突出贡献被聘请为中国书画产业研究基地专家组成员，聘期终身。
2024年9月被评选为新时代最具影响力的艺术人物。
2024年10月被中国文联授予中国美术终身成就奖。

2025年，他应邀加入中国通俗文艺研究会，任高级书法研究员、理事，同时加盟中国经济观察网、北京收藏网与中国题字网，以卓越造诣与执着精神，成为当代书画领域备受瞩目的名家。
Wang Wanhong, courtesy name Shuzhan, was born in July 1946 in Yongdeng, Gansu Province. As a senior calligrapher and retired faculty member of Lanzhou University of Resources and Environment, he developed a profound passion for painting, calligraphy, and seal carving from an early age under his father's guidance.
In 1963, his works were exhibited in the Chairman Mao's Poetry, Calligraphy, and Seal Carving Exhibition in the five northwestern provinces and were featured in the Gansu Daily. Starting in 1983, leveraging Dunhuang as a window for cultural exchange with the outside world, his works gradually spread overseas, exerting a certain influence in Southeast Asia. In 1986, Wang Wanhong held calligraphy and seal carving exhibitions in Yongdeng and Dunhuang. In 1991, he successively held poetry, calligraphy, painting, and seal carving exhibitions in Guazhou, Jiuquan, Lanzhou, and Dunhuang. In the 1990s, his works were specially invited to participate in the "International Grand Exhibition of Chinese Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Art" held in the Philippines, where he won the International Cultural Exchange Excellence Award. He also consecutively participated in the second, third, and fourth "International Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Art Exhibitions" and the "First International Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Art Masters Invitation Exhibition" held in Taiwan, China, winning the Outstanding Creation Award.
In 2008, he was honored with the title of "International Olympic Artist" by the International Olympic Art Center. In 2009, he was recognized as an "Outstanding Contemporary Artist" by the Contemporary Artists Association and received the highest honor of the inaugural Global Chinese "Flag Bearer Award" along with the title "Master of the Generation." He also won the gold medal in the "Jinhui Cup" Republic Arts Awards and was awarded the honorary title of "Republic's Artistic Icon."
In 2012, his compiled work "Printed Edition of Chinese History Outline" was officially published and distributed. In September 2012, he was awarded the honorary title "Eighteen Masters of Chinese Studies as a Gift to the 18th National Congress" by the China National Studies Association, and received the Gold Award for the Highest Achievement in Chinese Culture and Art to commemorate the 35th anniversary of reform and opening-up.
In 2013, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the strategy to build a strong nation through talent, his biography was included in the book "Entering the World" by the China Future Research Association. In November of the same year, the "Ten Styles Thousand Character Text," created using oracle bone script, bronze script, Qin seal script, imitated seal script, Han clerical script, cursive script, regular script, modern cursive script, running script, and bamboo-leaf regular script, was published by the China Literature and History Press. In 2014, his biography was included in "Scholars Influencing China." He was appointed as honorary editor-in-chief and creative committee member by the Art Figures Magazine. He was nominated by the China National Studies Association to serve as a national image ambassador for the cultural community. His works and achievements were included in the "China Art Masters" national gift collection, and he served as honorary editor-in-chief of the China National Gift Publishing House. His biography and works were included in the large-scale calligraphy and painting collection "2014 National Meritorious Calligraphers and Painters."
In 2015, his works and resume were included in the first volume of calligraphy published by Xiling Seal Engravers 'Society Press, titled "Peak Art". He was awarded the title of "One of the Top 100 Outstanding People's Calligraphers and Painters in China" by the Information Science Research Institute of China Enterprise News Alliance, and was also featured in the corporate member club magazine of "Art Capital", a China enterprise report.
In 2018, I was invited to participate in the exhibition of outstanding works by artists with both moral integrity and artistic excellence, celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up. The special issue was distributed to enterprises and institutions across the country, receiving unanimous praise from leaders, experts, and corporate executives, and was prominently featured on the official website of the Art Committee. In April, I was specially appointed as a council member of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the China National Architecture Research Association.
In 2020, the New Artistic Group Calligraphers and Painters Working Committee of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association awarded the "Outstanding Model Figure of Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Art" certificate. In 2021, they were included in the Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Talent Pool.
In 2022, the China Traditional Arts Development Committee awarded the title of "China Cultural and Artistic International Communication Ambassador".
In 2022, he was specially invited to join the membership of Artron Art International Trading Network. He was invited to participate in the "Our China Dream—A National Exchange Tour of Calligraphy and Painting by 100 Generals and 100 Art Masters" organized by the China Red Culture Research Association. The National Cultural and Tourism Ministry's Art Development Center will launch the first batch of cultural heritage initiatives, including the establishment of the "China Calligraphy and Painting Art Masters Studio" with authorization, the presentation of honorary plaques, and nationwide coverage by four authoritative media outlets. He was also invited to participate in a series of events such as the "Era Masters, Creating for the People" national gift auction hosted by People's Daily's "Global Figures," book printing, and the issuance of public welfare certificates.
Invited to participate in the special report "Telling China's Stories Well, Shaping China's Culture-and Special Recommendation for Creative Communication Art Ambassador Wang Wanhong", organized by CCTV Media and the organizing committee of China's 100 Media.
At the invitation of the International Exchange Working Committee of the China Association for Service Trade, I participated in the production of the personal special issue "Adhering to Cultural Confidence, Continuing the Legend of the Silk Road" titled "Great Beauty Without Borders, Shared and Shared" to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. Fifteen domestic news media and eight overseas media outlets conducted special news reports and digital exhibitions as personal tributes to this event.
Invited to participate in the joint commendation by the China Academy of Art Promotion Association, the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center Committee, and the China Cultural Exchange Network Organizing Committee, he was specially recommended by the national soft power platform, China Cultural Exchange Network: "A national giant and a master of art—Wang Wanhong." He also received lifetime coverage and was included in the selection and reporting activities of the large-scale documentary "China Art, Auction Collection," which was compiled into the "China Art Brand Transaction List." He was specially awarded the honor certificate of "The Most Collectible Artist of 2023" and the title of "Recommended Artist for China's Major Auctions." Large-scale media followed up with extensive coverage.
The featured artwork was selected for the 2022 Contemporary Art Masters Invitational Exhibition titled "New Era, New Classics," organized by the Art Brand Promotion Project, with simultaneous permanent broadcasts across six prominent media outlets. At the special invitation of media and relevant government departments under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the artist participated in the CCTV Online live-streamed special program "Celebrating the 20th National Congress, Advancing on a New Journey," a tribute to renowned artists.
Invited to participate in the "Golden Autumn Welcomes National Day, Celebrating China" event hosted by Beijing Central Academy of Fine Arts, Wang Wanhong, a typical figure of Chinese art, was featured in media outlets such as Baidu, NetEase, and Toutiao. He was also invited to join the China Traditional Culture Promotion Association as a member.
Professor Li Xiaolong from Tsinghua Academy of Arts authored a critical essay titled 'The Art of Pressing, Pressing, Pausing, and Striking: The Majestic Momentum of Famous Calligrapher Wang Wanhong,' which was published in 'Famous Calligraphers' Reviews' and endorsed by six national-level authoritative media outlets.
He was specially invited to compile China's first online "Dictionary of Celebrities" and was also included in China's celebrity database. He was specially awarded the honorary title of "Model of the Times" to China's contemporary positive energy cultural workers, and received a certificate and medal for inclusion.
In 2023, he joined the China Oriental Culture Research Association as a senior calligraphy creator and researcher. In June 2024, he was awarded the title of "Red Wall" National Treasure Art and Calligraphy Artist, a contemporary hall-level honor.
In June 2024, he was awarded the China Art Hundred Flowers Award and participated in a fine calligraphy and painting exhibition.
In July 2024, he was appointed as a senior art consultant for the SME Culture Professional Committee of the China National Enterprise Culture Promotion Association.
