魏振宝，1944 年 10 月 6 日生，江苏扬州人，汉族，毕业于安徽师范大学艺术系，芜湖市书画院专职画家，被聘为英国皇家艺术研究院荣誉院士、客座教授，系中国美术家协会会员，国家一级美术师，被聘任全国政协画院副院长，作品多次参加全国美术作品展览。

代表作有：《课后》、《骄杨颂》、《沱江月》、《皖南民居》国画长卷《锦绣江南图》、《土家山寨图》、《徽乡古镇图》、《丝织图》等。

曾有作品赴罗马利亚、意大利、保加利亚、美国、日本展出，出版有《魏振宝素描集》、《魏振宝画集》。

2014 年被授予“人民功勋艺术家 ”荣誉称号、“国家艺术奖金奖 ”荣誉称号，“ 国家艺术大师 ”荣誉称号。

2014 年被授予“ 中国艺术百年巨匠 ”殊荣。

2015 年被授予瑞典皇家艺术学院荣誉博士学位。

Wei Zhenbao, born on October 6, 1944, in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, is of Han ethnicity. He graduated from the Art Department of Anhui Normal University and currently serves as a full-time painter at the Wuhu Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He has been appointed as an Honorary Fellow and Visiting Professor at the Royal Academy of Arts in the UK. He is a member of the China Artists Association, a National First-Class Artist, and has been appointed as the Vice President of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Painting Academy. His works have been exhibited multiple times in national art exhibitions.

His representative works include: "After Class", "Ode to the Proud Willow", "Moon over the Tuojiang River", "Southern Anhui Folk Houses", the long scroll of traditional Chinese painting "Magnificent Jiangnan", "Tujia Mountain Village", "Ancient Town of Huixiang", "Silk Weaving", and so on.

His works have been exhibited in Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, the United States, and Japan, and he has published "Wei Zhenbao Sketch Collection" and "Wei Zhenbao Painting Collection".

In 2014, he was awarded the honorary titles of "People's Meritorious Artist", "National Artistic Gold Award", and "National Artistic Master".

In 2014, he was awarded the honor of "Century Master of Chinese Art".

In 2015, he was awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts.
