俞金祥，字石人，1934年出身于浙江省嵊州市殿前村，刘海粟先生再传弟子。从事书法美术教育五十多年。所创作品，笔墨传统过硬，构思奇特，布局疏密有致。开创书法创新新格局，为中国传统书法艺术之花输液、添彩、增光。其作品笔墨精妙、别开生面、自成一家，深受业界同仁认可，获得《全国第一批非遗双创人才》荣誉称号。
艺术成就：
虎字2012年在法国卢浮宫展出7天，作品多次在海外十多国展出,“龙”、“虎”,“和”选为国礼赠送外国政要，荣获“国际艺术泰斗”称号。俞金祥《两岸一家亲》作品有中华收藏家协会(台湾)收藏，同时荣获“台北故宫国际艺术奖”。被中国文学艺术界联合会评为《国家特级书画家》。2023年，被评为中国国宾礼艺术家。主要入编有:中国艺术档案出版社出版的《中国传承大师》、东方华夏文化遗产保护中心编制的《华夏遗产·艺术之巅》、中国文艺出版社出版的《当代书史一名家经典作品范本》，2024年出版的《中国书法全集》的封面设计采用俞金祥的作品!俞金祥的头像与作品多次作为封面人物刊载于经典性的书画合集中。个人出版有《俞金祥三体书法集》，被定为孔子学院书法辅导教材,纪念“一带一路”倡议十周年《俞金祥个人专集》。2024年出版《中国美术教育名师名作教学范本--俞金祥书画作品选集》。2024年11月参与"一带一路·美美与共国际艺术交流展”2022年授予俞金祥“《华夏儿女》-优秀艺术传承之星”,“民族艺术品牌领航人物”荣誉称号，同年又荣获“吉尼斯世界艺术终身成就奖”，授予“吉尼斯最具收藏价值艺术家”荣誉称号。2023年7月聘为“中央新影中学生频道文创时代栏目组委员”。2024年聘为海口国艺委书画艺术博物馆馆长、2024年授予“联合国推广大使”、“艺术中的诺贝尔奖获得者”、“中国艺术百花奖”、“中国馆藏级艺术家”、“时代功勋人物”、“中国书画百年巨匠传承人”、“非遗传承人示范人物”荣誉称号等，并且颁发了中国书画大红袍荣誉牌匾，2024年荣获文体嘉年华(鸟巢)金奖。同年获得了莫奈国际艺术奖一金奖，并荣获“达芬奇终身成就奖”。2025年俞金祥荣获世界艺术百家榜金奖，又授予2025(两会重点推荐艺术家)中华艺圣以及(十馆相传)国际馆藏艺术家和文化艺术外交官荣誉称号。2025年11月特聘担任中国文旅艺术数字资源库"首席艺术主席"。2026年荣获“全国功勋人物艺术家"、“中华人民共和国艺术精英人物"、“国际艺坛十大顶尖艺术家”称号。

Yu Jinxiang, styled Shiren, was born in 1934 in Dianqian Village, Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province. He is a disciple of Mr. Liu Haisu's second generation. He has been engaged in calligraphy and art education for over 50 years. His works are characterized by excellent traditional ink skills, unique conception, and well-arranged density. He has created a new pattern of calligraphy innovation, adding color and luster to the traditional Chinese calligraphy art. His works are exquisite in ink, distinctive, and unique, and are highly recognized by colleagues in the industry. He has been awarded the honorary title of "National First Batch of Intangible Cultural Heritage Dual-Innovation Talents".
Artistic achievements:
The character "虎" was exhibited at the Louvre Museum in France for 7 days in 2012, and the artwork has been exhibited multiple times in over ten countries overseas. The works "龙", "虎", and "和" were selected as national gifts presented to foreign dignitaries, earning the title of "International Art Master". Yu Jinxiang's work "Cross-Strait Family" is collected by the Chinese Collectors Association (Taiwan) and has also won the "Taipei Palace Museum International Art Award". He was awarded the title of "National Special-Grade Calligrapher and Painter" by the China Literature and Art Publishing House. In 2023, he was recognized as a Chinese State Guest Artist. His works have been included in major publications such as "Chinese Heritage Masters" published by the China Art Archives Publishing House, "Huaxia Heritage: The Pinnacle of Art" compiled by the East Huaxia Cultural Heritage Protection Center, and "Contemporary Calligraphy History: A Master's Classic Works" published by the China Literature and Art Publishing House. The cover design of the "Complete Works of Chinese Calligraphy" published in 2024 features Yu Jinxiang's artwork! Yu Jinxiang's portrait and works have been repeatedly featured as cover subjects in classic calligraphy and painting collections. He has personally published "Yu Jinxiang's Three-Dimensional Calligraphy Collection", which has been designated as a calligraphy tutorial textbook for the Confucius Institute, and "Yu Jinxiang's Personal Collection" to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the "the Belt and Road" initiative. In 2024, "Teaching Models of Famous Works by Famous Teachers in Chinese Art Education - A Selection of Yu Jinxiang's Calligraphy and Painting Works" was published. In November 2024, Yu Jinxiang participated in the "the Belt and Road·Sharing Beauty with the World International Art Exchange Exhibition". In 2022, he was awarded the honorary titles of "Excellent Star of Art Heritage" for "Huaxia People" and "Leading Figure of National Art Brands". In the same year, he also received the "Guinness World Lifetime Achievement Award in the Arts" and was honored as the "Guinness Most Collectible Artist". In July 2023, he was appointed as a member of the Cultural and Creative Times Column Group of the Central New Film Middle School Student Channel. In 2024, he was appointed as the director of the Haikou National Art Commission Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum, and in the same year, he was awarded honorary titles such as "UN Promotion Ambassador", "Nobel Prize Laureate in Art", "Hundred Flowers Award for Chinese Art", "Chinese Collection-Level Artist", "Meritorious Figure of the Times", "Inheritance of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Master of the Century", and "Demonstration Figure of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance". Additionally, he was presented with the honorary plaque of the Red Robe for Chinese Calligraphy and Painting. In 2024, he won the Gold Award at the Cultural and Sports Carnival (Bird's Nest). In the same year, he received a gold award at the Monet International Art Award and was honored with the "Leonardo da Vinci Lifetime Achievement Award". In 2025, Yu Jinxiang was awarded the Gold Award in the World Art Hundred Rankings and was also honored with the titles of "Chinese Art Sage" (recommended by the Two Sessions) and "International Collection Artist and Cultural and Artistic Diplomat" (passed down through ten museums). In November 2025, he was specially appointed as the "Chief Artistic Chairman" of the China Cultural Tourism Art Digital Resource Library.In 2026, he was awarded the titles of "National Meritorious Artist", "Artistic Elite of the People's Republic of China", and "Top Ten International Artists in the Art World".
Social positions:
Yu Jinxiang is currently a national super-grade calligrapher and painter, a calligraphy trainer at the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a visiting professor of calligraphy at the Confucius Institute, an artist honored by the state, a model figure for the revitalization of intangible cultural heritage, the vice president of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute, and an academician of the United Nations Peace Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He is also the ambassador for Sino-US cultural exchanges, the ambassador for ASEAN cultural and artistic exchanges, the executive director of the China Cultural and Financial Development Association, the ambassador for global cultural transmission of the United Nations World Health Organization, one of the world's top ten hall-of-fame art masters, one of the top ten national art masters, the ambassador for Guizhou "Famous Guest Wine", appointed as a "visiting professor at the University of the Arts London", a member and specially-appointed calligrapher of the International Exchange Working Committee of the China Association for Service Trade, a specially invited art consultant for the Shining China column group of China International Education Television, a recommended artist for the 35th Paris Louvre International Art Fair, and the chief contracted artist of the Centennial Master Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum. His works are under key protection by national cultural relics and are collected by various circles. In 2024, Yu Jinxiang was appointed as the director of the Haikou National Art Commission Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum. In 2025, he was hired as the chairman of the China Calligraphy and Painting Trading Center.In January 2026, it was awarded the Gold Prize at the Louvre International Art Exhibition.
